Ballroom Dances
Whether your style is smooth-as-silk or hot & spicy, Ballroom dancing includes a wide range of partnered social dances. Traditional, smooth-style dances include Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz and Quickstep. All are traveling dances — they move counter-clockwise around the dance floor. Dances with a Latin flavor, or that are rhythmic in nature, include Cha Cha, Rhumba, Samba, Swing and Salsa, to name a few. As a course of study, many dance types can be further broken down into either American or International style. Most social dance classes, unless otherwise specified, will be taught in the American style.
