We offer top quality dance instruction to adults and children in Northeast Ohio. In 2006, we opened our boutique in the Akron area, offering personalized service and a selection of more than 100 dance shoe styles, plus dance wear, accessories and more.

About Anita
Anita Converse is one of the premier dance teachers in Northeast Ohio with 45 years of dance experience—student, perfomer, competitor, teacher, choreographer. She is often sought out for her extensive dance background and expertise.

As a teacher, Anita brings her love of dance to you. Whether you want to Waltz at your wedding, Salsa the night away, or delve into the emotional depths of the beautiful Argentine Tango; skilled, caring, patient and with a sense of humor, rarely do you find a dance teacher as uniquely qualified to meet your dance needs.

Anita's dance background began with intensive, professional training in classical Ballet, Jazz and Modern Dance. She was one of the original, founding-member dancers with the Cleveland Ballet. The same, unwavering dedication has also been applied to years of studying the partnered dance forms, including Smooth and Latin Ballroom dances, Salsa, Swing and Argentine Tango.

From an early age, Anita knew her life's work and passion would involve dance, therefore, she sought out only the best professional teachers, coaches and performing artists to study with. Names are too many to list, but, be it Ballet or Jazz, Ballroom or Tango, they are all names of international recognition and respect. Supplementing her dance training and experience, Anita also has many years invested in the study of classical music, acting and body mechanics disciplines.
